This page explains, in plain language, how cancellation and refunds work for paid CLRD subscriptions and one-off purchases made at clrd.app. It summarises the billing terms in our Terms of Service; if anything here differs from the Terms, the Terms prevail.
You can cancel at any time from the Plans page in your account — no notice period, no phone call. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the billing period you have already paid for: you keep full access until then, and you are not charged again. This applies to monthly and annual plans alike.
Subscriptions are billed in advance, and fees already paid are non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise. Cancelling part-way through a period does not trigger a partial refund — your plan simply runs to the end of the period you have paid for.
If you believe you have been charged in error — for example a duplicate charge, or a charge after a completed cancellation — please contact us and we will investigate and refund any amount charged in error.
Bolt-on job packs are one-time purchases; unused bolt-on jobs carry over rather than expiring with a billing period, and bolt-on purchases are non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise. If your plan started with a free trial, nothing is charged during the trial, and cancelling before the trial ends means you are never charged.
We give at least 30 days' notice of any price change, and a change never applies to a period you have already paid for — if you do not wish to continue at a new price, cancel before your next renewal. If a renewal payment fails, we may retry your payment method and may suspend or downgrade access if the failure is not resolved within a reasonable period; a failed payment never incurs an extra charge from us.
